Based in the heart of Fitzrovia, the international tech investment business, Atomico selected Bluebottle to create an innovative and engaging workspace with aspirations for longevity both in terms of timeless design and construction. Through a committed process of collaboration, Bluebottle was able to provide an elegant and flexible space for the founders and entire staff that now feels inclusive, dynamic, and puts sustainability as well as the wellbeing and comfort of its occupants at the forefront of the design.

With a residential townhouse sensibility, the building was designed to accommodate multiple tenants with single floor occupancy, so, through a process of strategic space planning, Bluebottle was able to enact a complex programme of structural works. This would connect all floors through a centralised staircase, thus vastly improving circulation throughout as well as its visual connections. This also reflects the company ethos of openness, warmth, and transparency.
A key aspect of the brief was Atomico’s ambition to achieve net zero carbon in construction and operation, fully in line with the UK Green Building Council’s new zero carbon framework, which Bluebottle and the professional team was able to accomplish.
